S. Korea defeats Laos 6-0 in AFC U-19 championship qualifier

SEOUL, Nov. 8 (Yonhap) -- South Korea defeated Laos 6-0 in a qualifying match of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) under-19 championship held in Bangkok, Thailand on Sunday.
Sunday's victory put South Korea at second place in Group E, which also includes Thailand, Vietnam, Macau and Bangladesh, according to the AFC.
Korea beat Bangladesh 5-0 and Macau 5-1, but suffered a surprising 0-1 defeat by Vietnam on Friday.
Korea will face Thailand on Wendesday in its last qualifying match for the AFC championship.
Thailand defeat Laos 1: 0 in U19 AFC

Thailand U19 defeated Laos with a minor win of 1:0 at Rayal Thai Army stadium on November 3, 2009 in Bangkok.
In the previous match, Thailand won Macau 3-0, and Laos lost to Vietnam 1-4.
The AFC U19 championship of group E comprises of South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Bangladesh, and Macau.
Laos has to win for the remained 3 matches in order to qualify for the next round.
For the next match, Laos will take Macau on November 6, South Korea on the 8th, and Bangladesh on the 11th, at Royal Thai Army Stadium. The games will start from 16:30.
